Machine-building complex is a basic branch of economies of our countries, problems and modernization issues are under a special attention, emphasis is placed on introduction of innovative and high-tech developments, training of qualified specialists capable to work in a competitive market, home-grown technologies that can be applied in medicine, space and others spheres of human life.
Exhibition events of this level have been held for many years and are an exemplary platform for demonstration of achievements of developments and innovative technologies by Russian and foreign companies.

We live in the period of Industrial Revolution 4.0, during the period of number and globalization, and for our society the most important condition is technogenic safety: security of facilities and structures, security of infrastructure and transport, safety of houses and social facilities, safety of materials and equipment.
In this regard, Kazakhstan actively integrates achievements of the world community in the field of industrial, technogenic safety and contributes to the practice of application of the latest technologies used in extraction of hydrogen sulfide at sea, and development of logistics pipeline and transport infrastructure, mining and processing of minerals.
Experience accumulated by our country made it possible this year to start development of new legislation in the field of civil protection and technical regulation that will allow national business to be developed more actively based on implementation of international standards and best practices.
I especially want to greet the participants of NDT Kazakhstan exhibition, who consider our country as a full partner in the development and application of the latest technologies in the system for assessment of objects state and Advanced NDT.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen!
On behalf of the Kazakhstan Electric Power Association and on my own behalf, I welcome guests and participants of Kazakhstan International Exhibition Powerexpo Astana 2018!
The Kazakhstan Electric Power Association (KEA) was established in January 1999. Today, the Association presents generating companies, regional electric grid companies, energy supply organizations, a system operator, a centralized auction operator, major industry research and design institutes, power equipment manufacturers, the US Energy Association and others.
KEA plays a linking role in the dialogue between industry representatives and government agencies. To this end, the Association signed Memorandums of Cooperation with various state bodies. The Association is accredited in expert councils for examination of normative legal acts of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, Agencies for Regulation of Natural Monopolies, Protection of Competition, Construction and Housing and Communal Services. Also representatives of KEA participate in the work of various working groups of state bodies. The work on improvement of legislation in the field of electric-power industry is carried out.
The Association established a Committee on Renewable Energy Sources, which transferred the results of UNDP project on wind energy in the framework of signed Memorandum of Cooperation between the United Nations and KEA Development Program.
Powerexpo Astana exhibition is supported by the Association since its foundation. The exhibition annually allows Kazakh and foreign experts to discuss current challenges facing domestic energy industry, such as energy and resource saving, energy and environmental security.
I wish all participants and guests of Powerexpo Astana exhibition successful work, conclusion of mutually beneficial contracts, productive business meetings!

Ladies and Gentlemen,
On behalf of the Association of Legal Entities “Kazakhstan Association of Non-Destructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics”, I welcome the guests and participants of the Kazakhstan International Exhibitions PowerAstana, Kazatomexpo, MachExpo Kazakhstan and NDT Kazakhstan!
For over half a century, NDT Exhibitions and Conferences have been held in many industrialized countries of the world, and the International Organization ICNDT, consolidating national industrial communities, promotes it actively. The Kazakhstan Association of Non-Destructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics is a voting member and has represented Kazakhstan in ICNDT since 2012.
NDT exhibitions received wide expansion in the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China, in the countries, where there are the manufacturers of measurement equipment and where the authorities are working on the development of technologies. At the present stage of development, Kazakhstan is a consumer of NDT equipment, but we have seriously developed industry of services in the field of technical diagnostics and instrumental examination of objects due to an active investment policy of the State.
Technologies for ensuring security of processes at oil producing companies and operating companies of public infrastructure are of greatest interest to the participants of the Exhibition and Conference.
We have a great opportunity to demonstrate the level of technological equipment of oilfield service companies for potential customers, as well as solutions to issues of further development of NDT industry in our country.

The present industrial Exhibitions have become an important demonstration ground for entrepreneurs and professionals of Kazakhstan and other countries. Today, in the Exhibition Centre “Korme”, Astana welcomes companies from Kazakhstan, Russia, Italy, UAE, Czech Republic, Germany and other countries. Participants of the Exhibitions represent the whole range of products, services and technologies for nuclear, engineering and energy industry of Kazakhstan.
The aim of the Exhibitions is the saturation of the Kazakhstan market with knowledge intensive and environmentally friendly technologies and equipment, strengthening of trade and industrial relations, projects and programs for co-investment, receiving an opportunity for international and domestic businesses to review the plans, objectives, dynamics and development strategies of such important sectors of the Kazakhstan economy, as engineering and energy.
The present Exhibitions are the opportunity for experts to discuss the prospects of foundation of joint ventures in order to further increase local content in goods, works and services produced in the territory of the Republic, and later on to develop export.

The Strategic Development Plan of the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2020 defines the development of nuclear industry as one of the key areas. The main mission of the Committee is to ensure nuclear and radiation safety and physical security, compliance with nonproliferation regime on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, that is, the state regulation of safety in the sphere of nuclear energy use.
In today's world, the broad cooperation of technical experts, entrepreneurs, scientists and many others, who have invested their knowledge, skills and energy in this sphere, play the crucial role, of course, for the effective development of high-tech industries such as nuclear power industry.
Holding of Kazatomexpo, MachExpo Kazakhstan, PowerAstana and NDT Kazakhstan will doubtlessly promote the creation and strengthening of scientific, technical and economic cooperation in the peaceful uses of nuclear power in the best way, and, consequently, the development of nuclear, engineering and energy industries of our country.

This year we hold the first Kazakhstan International Exhibition of Nondestructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics – NDT Kazakhstan. NDT Kazakhstan will become a specialised annual event in Central Asia, the place of business communication for main providers of nondestructive testing equipment and services.
The business programme will include Nondestructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics Conference, arranged in cooperation with ALE Kazakhstan Nondestructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics Association, with support of Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. At the Conference the participants will be able to get acquainted with legal and regulatory framework of the branch in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as with previews of technological innovations in Nondestructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics.
Also during the exhibition activity days Kazakhstan Nondestructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics Association will hold a seminar on Energy Audit, where the issues of politics and legal framework of energy preservation and efficiency in the Republic of Kazakhstan will be discussed, as well as current problems of large manufacturing outfits energy audit performance and ways of their solutions.
